Fabrication is the process used to convert plastic materials into various shapes and designs, and different techniques and materials need to be adopted according to the requirements of the end-product.
Plastic Systems offer a range of different fabrication methods to convert materials, using our extensive knowledge of drilling, forming, line bending, welding and turning techniques.
Our fabrication department is happy to provide a number of complementary services including bonding using quality adhesives, polishing, laser engraving, annealing and cutting.
A wide range of materials are suitable for fabricating, available in many different thicknesses and types. Plastic Systems specialise in acrylic, PETG and Polycarbonate for general fabrication projects or adopt PVC, Polypropylene, ABS, PVDF or Polyethylene if chemical resistance is required.
CNC routing uses a computer numerical controlled router to provide precision manufacturing of complex composite materials. At Plastic Systems, customers send us their drawings, which are programmed into our CNC routers. Our CAD/CAM equipment then cuts, shapes, surfaces, mills and drills plastic and polycarbonates parts, producing our customer’s designs accurately and consistently.
